Event Details

The Canadian Federation of University Women Oakville (CFUW) and the Oakville Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) will be co-hosting a public, all candidates breakfast meeting on Wednesday, Sept 21st at Otello's Banquet and Conference Centre, Oakville.

Registration and breakfast will start at 7:30am. The programme will begin with opening statements by the candidates and then questions from the floor, wrapping up at 9:30am sharp.  All candidates running in the Oakville riding have been invited to attend.  So far, the candidates who have confirmed their attendance are: Kevin Flynn (Liberal) and Lesley Sprague (NDP).

The event is open for all to attend.  Since CFUW Oakville is non-profit, tickets for breakfast are $15 per person to cover the cost of the event (online) or $20 at the door. Tickets for breakfast must be ordered in advance.  Contact Anne Douglas at CFUWevent@gmail.com for more information.

Oakville University Women (CFUW) and Professional Engineers (PEO)



CFUW - The Canadian Federation of Univeristy Women is a voluntary, non-profit, self-funded bilingual organization of over 10,000 university women graduates.  Members are active in public affairs, working to raise the social, economic and legal status of women, as well as to improve education, the environment, peace, justice and human rights.

PEO - Through the Professional Engineers Act, PEO governs over 80,000 licence and certificate holders and regulates professional engineering in Oantrio to serve and protect the public.  Professional engineering safeguards life, health, property, economic interest, the public welfare and the environment. Professional engineers can be identified by the P.Eng. after their names.
